casaPROJECT is simple, helping others simply live. casaPROJECT is set up to assist families and individuals in ways they are unable to afford, monetarily. casaPROJECT serves the community through Home Repair and Remodeling. We seek to improve the quality of life for families and individuals by providing assistance to repair any physical defect or flaw in their home, which is necessary for daily living. There are many families that struggle to make ends meet and provide daily food for their themselves, let alone replacing a leaky faucet or repairing that hole in the wall.  There are some families that is in desperate need of a small or large renovation of a particular room in there house, as it is not sufficient for daily living as is. casaPROJECT is not looking to give families a "luxerious alternative" to life but rather simply helping them live a better quality of life than their present circumstances allow. Most people don't think twice about replacing that light fixture that "just doesn't look good in the living room any more" or even tearing out that "old", "out dated" kitchen appliance and replacing it with a brand new one. Not to their fault, they simply just go down to the local hardware store, pick a new product out, and then install it or have it installed. The problem is, not everyone has the ability to spare an extra dollar on such items. In some cases there are families that struggle just to replace a light bulb when one goes out, simply so they can have light in the kitchen to fix an evening meal. Through the service of Volunteers working with casaPROJECT, people perform repairs in exchange for...nothing, period. It's a simple way to help others to simply live.

casaPROJECTS strives to continue its theme of service to the community by also supporting the local business community. Local hardware stores, suppliers, etc are used whenever possible for cP projects. It's extremely important that the entire community is supported by casaPROJECT in everyway possible. casaPROJECT also supports Habitat for Humanity by using the local ReStore for purchasing many of the materials for projects. By supporting these local businesses, cP not only supports the local community, but is able to re-use materials in many cases. Re-use is a strong quality that is considered in all projects.

casaPROJECT is not restricted by city limits or neighborhood dividing lines. The services of casaPROJECT are offered to anyone in need, wherever they may be. Currently casaPROJECT has been serving the Austin area and looks to expand that service area.

casaPROJECT also wants to invest in real estate. And not invest for the sake of gaining great wealth, but investing in real estate to help invest in the lives of those in need. Finding old properties, repairing them and putting them back in affordable, liveable condition for families to occupy is a long-term goal at casaPROJECT. The idea behind making these investments at casaPROJECT is to accomplish the above goal and also to generate income for the mission and operations of the organization in the future. Affordable Rent from these properties help keep casaPROJECT running and helping others SIMPLY LIVE.
