Vote at 16 is a movement dedicated to lowering the local voting age to 16 years old. The movement is geared towards engaging young voters and increasing accountability among legislators to the demographic they impact the most. My project is centered on Bakersfield, California, a place that voting at 16 has the potential to benefit immensely.
